Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist
We are a general dental practice serving our wonderful San Mateo County Community. We have two Dentists (who are sisters too!) who perform all procedures from restorative and cosmetic to emergency procedures, while we welcome patients of all ages. We are a modern dental practice with digital x-rays, digital scanning, and electronic charting. Responsibilities: Perform dental hygiene procedures such as: Prophys, take digital X-rays, apply fluoride, oral hygiene education, provide at-home care recommendations, perio probing and charting. SRP and injections as needed. Document and update medical histories, charting, digital procedure notes, update treatment plans. Follow all infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations Maintain hygiene operatory and sterilization of hygiene instruments ​Qualifications: Previous experience as a RDH, minimum two years. Experience in working with patients of all ages. Strong organizational skills and an ability to stay on task and on time. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Computer and technology comfortable. Hours: We are open Monday thru Thursdays, with a 1 hour lunch break daily We are closed all Fridays and major holidays throughout the year. Our first patient is scheduled at 8:30am and our last patient of the day is scheduled no later than 5pm We are currently looking to fill one hygiene day IMMEDIATELY, with a potential second day in the future. Tuesday or Thursday is our preference. However, the day of the week is flexible, but will need to be consistent weekly.
